After A Two-Year Break, The Nine Mornings Festival Is Back.

The 2022 National Lotteries Christmas/Nine Mornings Festival will begin this weekend, marking the beginning of Christmas in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The event will go up at 7 pm at Heritage Square.
The festival is back after a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and La Soufriere Volcano eruption.
Oronde Bomani Charles, Chairman of the SVG National Nine Mornings Committee, said the street parade, where clients would partake in a candlelight cultural street procession through the streets of Kingstown, will take place this year. The march will be accompanied by The Police Band, Dance Groups, Community Groups, Drumming Groups, and X-Pan from Sion Hill.
When the festival returns to Heritage Square, it will get off with a brief opening ceremony that will feature worship by the Exalt Him Worship Ministries and a blessing of the event from Pastor Randy Boucher. The Epic Sound Steel Orchestra will perform steel band music and a special small presentation will be done by the SVG Police Band,” he stated.
Several stalwarts will also be acknowledged for their remarkable contribution to St Vincent and the Grenadines.
